| To use: warm, cool, complimentary, monochromatic, and achromatic color theory in your photographs. | ||
| PROCEDURES: | ||
Read through the link about color and the elements and principles of design info. Take a variety of photographs that illustrate: warm colors, cool colors, complimentary colors, monochromatic, and achromatic color. You can only use Photoshop to create the achromatic images. As always, these need to be new pictures taken specifically for this assignment. Do your very best on this assignment. Spend some time planning before shooting. Shoot a lot. Experiment. |

| TURN IN: | ||
Create five labeled 5in x 7in (or 7in x 5in) - native resolution (leave the file the resolution it is, leave the resolution box blank when using the crop tool) jpg digital files. Name the file what it is an example of (example: warm.jpg, cool.jpg, comp.jpg, and achro.jpg, mono.jpg). Put the files in a folder in your Photo folder named "yourlastnamecolor". You are turning in 5 files: 1. Example of warm colors. 2. Example of cool colors. 3. Example of complimentary colors. 4. Example of monochromatic color. 5. Example of achromatic color. |
