BLURRY SHOT - Slow shutter speed (around 1/8 of a second) with some Photoshop manipulation.

STANDARD SHOT - The shutter speed is fast enough (around 1/250) to freeze motion (both camera and aubject). Same subject as above. The shots were taken within 5 minutes of each other.

PANNING SHOT-Slow shutter speed (around 1/15 of a second), camera moving "with" the object.The subject is relatively clear while the background exhibits motion blur. The technique is often used to show speed or motion.
